Blake Wayne Mecham
Blake joined our family today at 1pm on the dot. He weighs 7 lbs. 3 oz. and is 21 inches long. He looks just like Kellen except his eyelashes are not as long.
I am doing great and I have been up and walking.
Blake on the other hand Blake is in the Special Care Nursery (also known as the NICU), he has some fluid in his lungs and is breathing fast. They are running tests and so far they don't think that there is an infection so now we need to wait and see if and when the fluid either be absorbed by his lungs or he coughs it up. They are keeping him in the nursery untill his breathing is under control. Hopefully that will all be soon and he can come into my room.

He is so cute. Absolutely perfect. Cash had the same problems with the fluid in his lungs. He spent a while in the NICU. It took a few days but he did finally cough it all up. He was still coughing it up (and choking on it) even on our drive home from the hospital. Hopefully Blake will get it all out soon.

Blake is so cute! I hope he is doing better! Sammy told all her friends that she got to see a brand new baby...she was very excited! I can't wait to see him again!
Oh my gosh, Colette! He is the most gorgeous thing ever! Congratulations! I hope he's doing better. He looks so much like Kellen! I can't wait to meet him! Take care of your little family - miss you guys!
Congrats you guys. He is so cute. I am glad that he is out of the NICU now and that you get to go home tomorrow. I love you and can't wait to get ahold of Blake in November.

Congrats on the baby! He is adorable! I can't wait till I have our baby.. they bring so much JOY! Kellan looks like he'll be a great brother. Hopefully I'll see you soon!
Congratulations Colette! He is super Cute, and what a great name you picked. Now when we get together we might get a litte confused when we call out the name Blake. We need to get together when you are feeling up to it.
Congrats!! Its good that he wasn't in nicu for very long. He looks so adorable. Can't wait to see him.
